Tucker Law Trusts & Estate Planning · California's Central Coast
Comprehensive estate planning,
tailored to your family.

Whether you're starting fresh or your life has changed since you last updated your documents, we build every plan around what your family actually needs.

Your First Estate Plan

A complete estate plan starts with a living trust — the foundation that holds and protects what you've built. From there, we layer in the documents every family needs: a pour-over will, financial power of attorney, healthcare directive, and more. You get one cohesive plan, not a stack of disconnected papers.

Trust Amendments & Restatements

Life changes — and your trust should keep up. Whether you've had a new grandchild, gone through a divorce, or simply want to update who's in charge, we tailor every amendment or restatement to what your trust actually needs. No unnecessary rewrites, no one-size-fits-all approach.

Special Needs Planning

When a loved one has a disability, the stakes are high — a plan that's not carefully structured can cost them the government benefits they depend on. We build special needs trusts that provide real financial support without putting SSI, Medi-Cal, or other vital programs at risk.

Trust & Estate Administration

When a loved one passes away, someone has to step in and carry out the plan — and that job can feel overwhelming. We guide trustees and families through the administration of a trust or estate, handling the legal and procedural steps so you can focus on what matters. This is not probate: a properly funded trust stays private and out of court.

Get in touch →
Do I need a will if I already have a trust? +
Yes — a "pour-over will" works alongside your trust to capture any assets that weren't transferred into the trust during your lifetime. Together they form a complete plan.
How much does estate planning cost? +
We offer transparent flat-fee pricing for most planning packages. Costs vary based on your family's situation, but we'll give you a clear quote when we connect — no surprises.
How long does the process take? +
A basic will can often be completed in 1–2 weeks. A full living trust package typically takes 3–4 weeks, allowing time for careful review, revision, and proper signing.
Can we update our plan as life changes? +
Absolutely. Marriages, divorces, births, deaths, and new assets all warrant a review. We make it straightforward to revisit and amend your documents whenever life calls for it.
What if we already have documents from another attorney? +
We're glad to review existing documents and update or replace them as needed. Many families come to us with plans that no longer reflect their wishes or current California law.
Your family deserves
a plan.

Reach out to start a conversation about your family's future. We'll take the time to understand your situation and explain your options clearly.
